Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for taking customer requests/market needs from concept through to launch utilising WorkFront. This includes:
_Prepare charters that clearly define the project scope, success criteria and approach
_Develop project plans including resource requirements and work with commercial teams to manage customer expectations
_Design a product that meets both the customer needs and internal manufacturing and quality performance targets.
_Record and analyse experimental observations/data
_Qualitative and quantitative assessment of new products, internally and externally
_Provide experimental updates during meetings and present results formally (verbal and written)
_Evaluate prototype casings in the product application test laboratory to ensure that these are suitable for use by the intended customers
Participating in product trials at customer facilities
Collaborate with colleagues in Manufacturing during the introduction phase of new products through to semi-commercial production, including the creation of standard operating procedures and bill of materials.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
Bachelor, Master or PhD
Fields: Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Food Technology, Physics, Chemistry, Biotechnology
Experience in product development, preferably in the food industry
A track record of successfully developed products is a plus
Solid technical skills are a must
Able to read and write in English
Able to use computer software
Good communication skill and attention to details
Able to work under pressure
At least 3 years of working experience in the same/similar position
